The Longboat bar is the social hub of the health centre, here members and their guests may relax in a convivial atmosphere. A range of beverages are available from protien drinks, coffee, flavoured mineral waters to a range of alchohol that includes Carlsberg, Tetley and Guiness bitters on draught, plus Becks, Budweiser, Holsten, Cider and Spirits. Themed party nights are a regular feature of the bar and have to be experienced to be believed, functions can be catered for, and even a concert has been held by "The Amazing Blondel" and a magic show given by "Sheer Magic" (UK top illusionist act). There is a television corner, a dart board and an 8 ball pooltable is permanently on freeplay for members use, or you may just flop and relax in one of the very soft sofas.
