In
Valhalla the warriors can practice their skills of fighting
and if injured or killed will recover fully, able to fight again the next
day
Valhalla
Story
The
Valkyrie are women warrior angels who come down to the battle fields from
Valhalla to take back the valiant, dead warriors
Valhalla
is the name of one of the houses
of Viking Heaven. It is Odin's home in heaven for the chosen, fallen Viking
warriors.
East
Yorkshire, England has many Viking connections and ancient sites. Valhalla
Health & Fitness Centre is located on the first floor of the Viking
Centre shopping complex in the
market town of Great
Driffield, hence the name Valhalla; Viking heaven, which
is also appropriate because Martyn and Nancy when performing at exhibitions,
used a warrior theme.
The
magic cauldron is always full of tasty stew, food and drink are bountiful
and every night the warriors feast and drink and make merry . The house of
Valhalla is said to have many doors large enough for up to forty warriors
to pass through at once.
The
warriors wait at Valhalla for Ragnarok which is the ultimate battle between
the Ice Giants and the Viking Gods. Ragnarok was prophesied to end in the
destruction of the Viking Gods. This is why Odin chooses the strongest and
bravest dead warriors to await in readiness for the final battle in the vain
hope to change the Viking Gods destiny.
